Did I look like that in 2016 and wasn’t satisfied? After 2 pregnancies, my waist gained a few inches but did my shoulders expand too? My belly button is saggy and my linea nigra is still very visible after so many months! 😩
On a happier note, Aaron turns 18 months this July and I feel like I am seeing more progress in regaining my pre-pregnancy body, fitness strength and flexibility! I took longer than usual because I haven’t been consistent. There were weeks I would clock 4 classes a week, some weeks I did nothing at all - yet I still ate cookies and chips for supper 😝 I guess its true when they say abs are made in the kitchen.
I still can’t give my 100% in every class because of my lack in stamina. Can’t and don’t have the confidence to do 50% of the poses I used to be able to. But the best thing I can do for myself is to get up and show up on the yoga mat and work towards it. We're all a beautiful, wonderful work-in-progress. Embrace the process!

Topik : Nak 6 Packs? Ini Cara-Caranya
Pernah tak korang dengar “Abs Are Made In The Gym” ataupun “Abs Are Made Dengan Menyayangi Isteri”? Tak pernah kan? Tapi mesti korang biase dengar “ABS ARE MADE IN THE KITCHEN” betul? Well itu lah caranya nak dapatkan 6 packs/ kempiskan perut/ buang lemak di perut. Bukannya dengan buat 1000 sit up/ 1000 crunches/ plank sejam. Senaman2 sy sebutkan tu menguatkan otot core kita tapi takdela hanya dengan senaman2 tu akan terbentuk 6 packs/ mengempiskan perut anda.
Jadi apa cara nak dapatkan perut padat & ketat? PAAALING UTAMA, PEMAKANAN. Buat la abs workout hari2 tapi kalau pekena nasi kandar extra nasi kuah banjir ayam goreng extra crispy, banjir meleleh menggelebeh la perut tu. Takyah tanya “ok ke doc amalkan diet2 bernama macam Atkins, Paleo, Najib, Rosmah” sebab semuanya tak tahan lama. Instead go for PEMAKANAN SIHAT & SEIMBANG

Kedua, SENAMAN. Pilih senaman yg korang enjoy. Suka weight training, silakan. Suka kejar awek beskal, gi beli beskal. Suka tiktok, pilih tiktok yg menggerakkan seluruh badan & meningkatkan denyutan jantung.
JANGAN SESEKALI BUAT SENAMAN BERTUMPU! “Apadia tu doc?”. Contoh korang nak hilangkan perut, korang buat abs workout je, nak hilangkan tangan gelebeh, korang buat senaman triceps je. NO SUCH THING AS SPOT EXERCISE.

Nak hilangkan perut boyot, tangan gelebeh kena hilangkan lemak secara keseluruhan. Cardio & resistance training adalah penyelesaiannya.
Pada hari Jumaat yg mulia, marilah kita sama-sama memenuhkan ilmu di dada, cukuplah buat senaman perut dengan harapan perut jadi flat seperti saya, instead ubahlah pemakanan & gaya hidup agar terbentuk 6 packs saudara

They said Abs are made in the kitchen, not in the gym. I 100% agree with that statement, but that doesn't mean that you should totally neglect your Abs muscles.
Imo, training Abs can improve your mind muscle connection. For fitness model it is very important to train Abs not because the more you train the better bigger they became, but to improve your muscular endurance of continuously contracting your Abs when on stage or during a photo-shooting session to show your all hard earned kitchen and training efforts!
I've seen many people with low body fat level but they still have trouble presenting their beautiful six packs abs, Abs indeed is there, but they can't contract their packs to make it look protrude, and they have problem flexing their Abs for long and later on it doesn't appear solid. The solution? Train your Abs!
Low body fat gives you Abs.
